I consider my approach to counseling to be eclectic as a pull from theories that best support my clients. You’ll frequently see me pull from CBT and ACT theories. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) allows for clients to find the control they are struggling to hold onto. I use CBT because I have seen first hand the empowerment that comes with it. ACT or acceptance and commitment therapy offers similar empowerment with focus on values and emotions as you grow.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have completed a supervised clinical internship. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, I practice under the supervision of a fully licensed clinical supervisor while working toward independent licensure. This structure ensures that clients receive high-quality care supported by ongoing professional consultation and oversight. I have extra training in human development, structural family therapy, and psychological first aid.
